Mr. Claus Wagner, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (49)
Before retiring at age 39, Claus spent over 17 years working in senior positions in New York, Tokyo, London and Frankfurt for banks such as Dresdner, Deutsche and Citibank. In these positions, he was responsible for hundreds of millions of revenue and staff of over 120. Claus has been happily married for 25 years and has two daughters, 21 and 19. Claus is a German citizen and a graduate of the Business School in Stuttgart. An avid car enthusiast and collector, he also enjoys assisting charities using his wealth of experience and worldwide network.
Mr. Robert (Rob) Newson, Chief Operating Officer (53)
Rob is a seasoned international businessman possessing a wealth of experience in assisting companies worldwide. He has held senior positions in both private and public companies in the UK. He has completed projects globally on every continent and has over 25 years of banking and related experience. In his long history of international business, he has advised corporations such as; Morgan Stanley, Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette and Credit Suisse. Since 2006 he has been advising a number of prominent companies within the Middle East. His career started in Lloyds of London and from there to the floor of the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Newson is a UK citizen, resident in the USA. He received his MBA from the London School of Economics.
Mr. Patrick (Pat) Mcdonald (54)
Pat is Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of Nytis Exploration Company and its wholly owned operating subsidiaries Nytis Exploration Company USA Catlettsburg, Kentucky and Nytis Exploration Company Inc, Calgary, Alberta. Previoulsy Pat was Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Carbon Energy Corporation (AMEX:CRB), an oil and gas exploration and production company which in 2003 was merged with Evergreen Resources, Inc (NYSE:EVG) and Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Interenergy Corporation, a natural gas gathering, processing and marketing company which in December 1997 was merged with Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE:KMI). Pat received a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. Pat also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Basic Materials and Services, Forest Oil Corporation (NYSE:FST), Leprechaun Resources Ltd, MAK-J Energy Partners Ltd., Ohio Basic Minerals, Polaris Resources, Ltd and Q Advisors LLC.
Mr. John Henry Schlie (56)
John is a practicing attorney with an office in Greenwood Village, Colorado. He is the President of the Law Office of John Henry Schlie, P.C. and is Of Counsel to the firm of Cross & Liechty, P.C. Since 1992, John’s practice had been primarily in the areas of securities and commercial litigation. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in economics in 1976 and from the University of Denver College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1978. John has been admitted to practice in the District of Columbia (inactive), Iowa (inactive) and Colorado as well as federal district courts for the District of Colorado, Northern District of Iowa, Eastern District of Wisconsin and District of Columbia as well as the Circuit Courts for the Eighth, Tenth and District of Columbia Circuits.
Mr. Richard (Rick) Dutkiewicz (55)
Rick is the Chief Financial Officer of Lakewood, CO based Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ – GM: BAGL) whose restaurant concepts include Einstein Bros. Bagels, Noah’s New York Bagels and Manhattan Bagel Bakery. Prior to joining New World, Rick held Chief Financial Officer and other senior financial positions with Vari-L Company, Inc., Coleman Natural Products, Inc. and multiple divisions of United Technologies Corporation. Rick began his career with KPMG in Los Angeles, CA and was an audit manager at KPMG in Denver, CO. Rick was recognized as the 2008 CFO of the Year for small public companies by the Denver Business Journal. Rick has been a guest speaker and instructor on turnaround situations for various professional organizations. Rick is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and a member of various professional organizations including the AICPA, FEI and ACG. He is on the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Denver and a former member of the Board of ACG of Denver. Rick and his family reside in Evergreen, CO
